ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਕਲਿਆਣਾ ਜੀ ਬੀੜ ਬੰਸੀਆਂ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਜੋੜ ਮੇਲਾ – ਦਸਤਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੜਾਪਿੰਡ ਦੇ ਚਰਨਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ
ਬੀੜ ਬੰਸੀਆਂ (ਤਹਿਸੀਲ ਫਿਲੌਰ, ਜਿਲਾ ਜਲੰਧਰ), 18 ਜੂਨ 2025 – ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਬਾਬਾ ਕਲਿਆਣਾ ਜੀ ਬੀੜ ਬੰਸੀਆਂ ਵਿਖੇ 17 ਤੋਂ 19 ਜੂਨ ਤੱਕ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਜੋੜ ਮੇਲਾ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਮੇਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ 18 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਦਸਤਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।
6 ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ 12 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੜਾਪਿੰਡ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਚਰਨਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ. ਬਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਤੀਜਾ ਸਥਾਨ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤਾ। ਚਰਨਜੋਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਾਮ ਵਜੋਂ ₹2100 ਨਗਦ ਅਤੇ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਪੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਹ ਦਸਤਾਰ ਮੁਕਾਬਲੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਰਿਆਦਾ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਮੁਕਾਬਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਨਕਦ ਇਨਾਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਬਾਸੀ ਬ੍ਰਦਰਜ਼ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।

Charanjot Singh from Bara Pind Secures Third Position in Dastar Competition at Annual Fair of Gurdwara Baba Kalyana Ji, Bir Bansian
Bir Bansian (Tehsil Phillaur, District Jalandhar), June 18, 2025 – The annual religious fair (Salana Jor Mela) was held from June 17 to 19 at Gurdwara Baba Kalyana Ji, Bir Bansian. As part of the festivities, a Dastar (turban tying) competition for children was organized on June 18.
In the age group of 6 to 12 years, Charanjot Singh, son of S. Balwinder Singh and resident of Bara Pind, showcased excellent skills and secured the third position. He was awarded a cash prize of ₹2100 along with a certificate of honor.
The purpose of the competition was to promote Sikh culture and values among the younger generation. The cash prizes for the event were sponsored by Bassi Brothers from the USA.
