ਬੜਾ ਪਿੰਡ, ਪੱਤੀ ਜੱਸੇ ਕੀ – ਪਿੰਡ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਥਾਨ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਰਬਾਰ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਅਕਾਲੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਜਾਂ ਬੈਂਕ ਵਾਲਾ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਵੀ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਸਿੱਖ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਧਿਆਤਮਿਕਤਾ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇੱਥੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ, ਵਿਸਾਖੀ (ਖਾਲਸੇ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ), ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਮਨਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਪਿਛਲੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰੇ ਦਾ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਹਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਛੋਟਾ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੰਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਬੈਠਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਲਝਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ ਵਸਦੇ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਨੇ ਮਿਲ ਕੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਹਾਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਭ ਕਾਰਜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

Appeal for Support: Expansion of Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar (Akalian’s Gurdwara) in Bara Pind
Bara Pind, Patti Jasse Ki – One of the most prominent religious sites of the village, Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar, also popularly known as Akalian’s Gurdwara or Bank Wala Gurdwara, continues to serve as a spiritual hub for the Sikh community.
Major Sikh religious events such as the birth anniversaries (Parkash Purabs) of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Vaisakhi (Khalsa Foundation Day), the Martyrdom Day of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, and other Gurmat Samagams are celebrated here with full devotion.
The main prayer hall (Darbar Hall) of the Gurdwara had become too small to accommodate the growing number of devotees. In response, the local residents along with NRIs (Non-Resident Indians) from the village have come together to expand the existing Darbar Hall.
