Bara Pind, May 24 (News Update): The sacred Shaheedi Purab (Martyrdom Day) of Sahib Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji will be commemorated with great devotion and reverence from May 28 to May 30, 2025, at Gurdwara Guru Nanak Darbar, Bara Pind. The event is being organized with the wholehearted support of the local Sangat (congregation).
Detailed Schedule of the Program:

May 28 (Wednesday): The service of changing the Nishan Sahib’s Chola (flag cloth) will take place at 8:00 AM. At 10:30 AM, the Sri Akhand Path Sahib (continuous reading of the Guru Granth Sahib) will commence.

May 29 (Thursday): A grand Nagar Kirtan (religious procession) will begin at 2:30 PM. The Dhadhi Jatha (ballad-singing group) led by Bibi Amandeep Kaur Khalsa from Nakodar will narrate inspiring episodes from Sikh history.

May 30 (Friday): The Bhog (conclusion) of Sri Akhand Path Sahib will be performed, followed by a spiritual discourse by Dhadhi Narinder Singh Baaz’s Jatha, highlighting the martyrdom of Guru Sahib.
Throughout all three days, Guru Ka Langar (community kitchen) will be served continuously.
Additionally, morning Prabhat Pheris (devotional early morning processions) will be held daily at 4:30 AM from May 24 to May 28.
