In the recently concluded Zila Parishad elections, Smt. Balbir Kaur, wife of Krishan Lal and resident of Bara Pind, contesting on the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) ticket, has been elected as the Zila Parishad Member from Dosanjh Kalan constituency with a massive victory margin of 1100 plus votes.
Although different parties showed varying strengths across individual booths in Bara Pind, the overall constituency trend strongly favored the SAD candidate. With consistent support from rural voters and strong backing across multiple villages, Smt. Surinder Kaur secured a decisive and comfortable victory.
